From August 2011 to June 2012, ANSA-EAP with the support of the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), mapped civil society organizations (CSOs) from Bicol, Western Visayas, and Northern Mindanao. The project aimed to document and assess the level of engagement of Philippine CSOs in observing the activities of Bids and Awards Committees (BACs) for national agencies. The result of the project is envisioned to bolster ANSA-EAP's understanding of social accountability at work.
This is ANSA-EAP's online channel for commentary and reflection on social accountability issues, as well as on interconnected issues of corruption, governance, and citizen participation.
